Packing 36,707 backpacks was an incredible community effort—but getting them safely into the hands of students required another team of community heroes.
Thanks to the generosity of our transportation partners, thousands of backpacks filled with essential school supplies were delivered to 56 Title I schools across Palm Beach County in just a matter of days. From loading trucks before sunrise to navigating delivery schedules, coordinating with schools, and unloading thousands of backpacks, these dedicated teams donated their time, equipment, and expertise to ensure every backpack arrived before the first day of school.
Their support did more than move boxes. They helped deliver confidence, opportunity, and hope to thousands of students as they prepared to begin a new school year.
We are incredibly grateful to Amazon Business, Good Greek Moving & Storage, The Armstrong Company, All My Sons Moving & Storage, and the Palm Beach County Firefighters Association for helping make this year’s record-breaking Backpack Initiative possible.

The Armstrong Company played a critical role in reaching schools throughout the Glades, helping transport thousands of backpacks to students across western Palm Beach County. Their commitment helped ensure every delivery arrived safely and on schedule.
