What is the purpose of this 5K charity race?
- This race is organized to raise funds for the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, which supports the Palm Beach County School District. All proceeds will go towards programs, grants, and initiatives.
What should I bring on the day of the race?
- Please bring your registration confirmation, a valid ID, appropriate running attire, and any personal items you may need like water bottles and sunscreen.
What is included in my registration fee?
- For the 5K, you will receive a race bib, shirt, collector’s finisher medal, chip timing, and refreshments.
Can I run with a stroller?
- Yes, but we ask you start towards towards the back.
Are there age restrictions for participants?
- Participants of all ages are welcome.
Is the race route wheelchair accessible?
- Yes, the route is fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Please inform us at registration if you require any special accommodations.
Will there be water stations on the course?
- Yes, several water stations along the route will provide water and support for runners.
Can I volunteer at the event?

Will there be prizes for race winners?
- Yes, we will award prizes to the top three finishers in various categories, including age groups and overall winners.
What happens if it rains on the day of the race?
- The race will take place rain or shine. In case of severe weather, please check your email or our social media channels for updates.
How can sponsors get involved?

Will there be photographs taken at the race?
- Yes, professional photographers will be capturing the event. Participants can find photos post-race from our website 48 hours after the event.
Is there parking available at the venue?
- Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot as it fills up quickly.
How are the Heroes Awards calculated?
- The winners of the Heroes Awards have the most 5K participants registered for their team. Participants only count if they register with a team on the registration page.
I can’t make the race. Can I get a refund?
- Race registrations are non-refundable, but you can transfer your registration to another runner by contacting angel@educationfoundationpbc.org.
How can I get my race packet?
- Race packets can be picked up on the day of the event at the registration desk or a day before the race at a packet pickup location. Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation for yourself and any other runner you are picking up for.
When I went to early packet pick-up, someone else picked up my shirt and bib.
- Team Captains who choose early packet pick-up must pick up for the entire team. If you are registered as part of a team, please contact your team captain. That information can be found Here (also under MORE on the race website).
