Mark served as the Chief of Performance Accountability for the School District of Palm Beach County, where he was a champion of equity leading the development of disaggregated dashboards to guide principal coaching and accountability and other data tools to shine the light on student opportunity and performance gaps.
Mark was instrumental in leading efforts around student acceleration systems as a driver to increase student opportunity and achievement in preparation for college and careers. During the COVID pandemic, Mark helped rally the community to start the Digital Inclusion program to connect students and families to educational and community services.
Mark was born in Indiana and graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s degree in education and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology. Mark lives in Jupiter with his wife Debby and loves to train and race in triathlons.
