Karen Swedenborg is the Development Coordinator at the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, supporting fundraising initiatives that strengthen public education and expand opportunities for students and teachers across the community. In her role, she assists with donor stewardship, database management, and special events that help advance the Foundation’s mission. With more than 20 years of fundraising experience, she is passionate about building relationships and connecting donors with causes that create meaningful and lasting impact.
Prior to joining the Education Foundation, Karen was a member of the Development team at Boca Helping Hands, where she played a key role in donor stewardship, database management, and special event coordination. She also helped lead the organization’s signature MONOPOLY® & Casino Night, which achieved three consecutive record-breaking years.
In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing in her church choir, watching a good mystery movie, reading a great novel, and relaxing with classic films.
