Alexa Guy brings several years of experience in public education across Miami and Palm Beach County, most recently serving as a Math and Science Instructional Coach and a STEM advocate. Having also served as a Reading Intervention Coach, she streamlined the Multi-Tiered System of Support process and launched her school’s successful Positive Behavior Systems program, securing its largest community donation and grant. She has also worked in curriculum development, designing resources to support student learning and instructional effectiveness.

Recognized by the School District of Palm Beach County as North Region Teacher of the Year and Elementary Mentor Teacher of the Year, as well as Nearpod’s Community Connector Awardee, Alexa is deeply committed to education and community development. She provides digital literacy coaching for Bridges of West Palm Beach, equipping families with essential technology skills. Additionally, she is an active member of the Young Professionals of the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County and the Urban League Young Professionals of Palm Beach County, where she supports initiatives that uplift students and educators. She also leads the Events and Recruitment Subcommittee for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach Advisory Council, helping to expand community engagement and volunteer efforts.

A FAMU graduate with a B.S. in Political Science and minors in Psychology and Education, Alexa is passionate about supporting students, teachers, and families. She enjoys yoga, brunch, reading, music, and event planning.
