Barbara Judd, a former teacher and dedicated volunteer, has been recognized as a Hometown Hero by WPEC for her outstanding commitment to the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County’s signature program, Red Apple Supplies. For over five years, Barbara has volunteered her time to help teachers acquire much-needed donated supplies for their classrooms, demonstrating her unwavering passion for education and community service.
Lisa Park, the Education Foundation’s Board Chair, spoke with WPEC about the invaluable contributions of volunteers like Barbara and shared exciting news about the Education Foundation’s upcoming Innovation Hub, set to open by the end of 2024. This new 32,000sq ft. facility will further enhance support for teachers and students in the community.
