When the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County requested the community’s support and needed a way to pick up 42 pallets of donated school supplies from our business partner Office Depot, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ® Palm Beach owners Janelle and Joel Dowley did not hesitate to spring into action and respond to the need.
Two years, 8,000+ backpacks and many pallets of school supplies later, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ® Palm Beach are the official movers of the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is a global organization with more than 350 locations worldwide. What started out as a local moving business in Michigan for a single Mom and two high school boys, now, 30+ year later, operates in 44 states and operations in Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
You will not only see the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ® vehicles headed out to the Glades region each summer to support the Foundation’s Backpack Initiative, you will find their team regularly volunteering at Red Apple Supplies ensuring teachers and students have the supplies needed to succeed in the classroom in beyond. In addition, they are a proud sponsor of the Principal of the Year Celebration and the Education Foundation’s Champion of Education!
Giving back in the community for which they serve is part of the company’s culture. Janelle Dowley, owner, describes it in more detail, “TWO MEN AND A TRUCK ®Palm Beach is proud to serve our community. Company-wide since 2009, we have donated over $3 million in moving services. it is partnerships like the one with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County that allow us to support our students and teachers here in Palm Beach County.
