As part of a $7 million statewide grant from the State of Florida’s School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program, the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County secured more than $420,000 in matching funds during the 2025-2026 school year, leveraging private investments to expand opportunities for students, teachers, and schools throughout Palm Beach County.
Every $1 invested through the Matching Grant Program generated over $2 in impact for Palm Beach County students and teachers. Together with our Champions of Education and community partners, these matching funds helped expand innovative programs that are improving student achievement, strengthening teacher support, and preparing students for future careers.
Thanks to PNC Foundation’s outstanding commitment, every prekindergarten student in the School District of Palm Beach County’s district-operated public schools benefits from enhanced kindergarten readiness and literacy initiatives. With the Golden Bell Education Foundation by our side, we’ve strengthened literacy programs for struggling readers in 13 elementary schools across Boca Raton, increasing literacy scores and fostering a love for reading that will last a lifetime.
In Pahokee, we are igniting students’ passion for STEM education through the Stepping Up STEM program, made possible by the Ventus Charitable Foundation. This initiative provides a dynamic pathway in computer programming and robotics for students in grades 6-12 at Pahokee Middle-Senior High School, empowering them to pursue industry certifications and prepare for future careers in technology and STEM-related fields.
Generous investments from Quantum Foundation, The Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation, and HCA Healthcare Foundation helped expand healthcare-focused Career and Technical Education programming to Palm Beach Central High School, Carver Middle School, and Christa McAuliffe Middle School, preparing students for high-wage, in-demand careers in the healthcare industry. In addition, support from Bank of America helped establish a new Finance Academy at Santaluces Community High School, where students will begin coursework next year designed to prepare them for careers in finance and related fields.
We recognize that great schools thrive on great teachers, and through our signature matching grant programs, we are committed to enhancing teacher quality and providing critical resources.
These initiatives provide essential supplies, fund innovative classroom projects, and help close achievement gaps so educators have the tools they need to inspire the next generation.

The GoTeach! Classroom Grant Program, backed by Florida Blue, The Batchelor Foundation, The Stiles Nicholson Foundation, LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Verizon, Gold Coast Federal Credit Union, and the Norman Shulevitz Foundation, made it possible for the Education Foundation to award 86 grants supporting over 1,400 teachers and 22,000 students in 59 schools to help implement innovative classroom projects that close achievement gaps for students.
Together, we are transforming opportunities for students, strengthening classrooms, and investing in the future of Palm Beach County. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, volunteers, community partners, and Champions of Education who support the State of Florida’s School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program. Thank you for helping us ensure every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
