“Supporting education means giving young people the tools, confidence and training they need to carry forward what previous generations have worked so hard to build.”

The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County is honored to be featured in Palm Beach Society’s Worth Knowing spotlight, recognizing two extraordinary philanthropic investments that will impact students and teachers for generations.

The Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation provided a $500,000 grant in support of the Foundation’s Brick by Brick, Mind by Mind capital campaign, helping fund our new 32,000-square-foot Center for Public School Excellence & Innovation in Lake Worth. In addition, George T. Elmore’s Impact for Good Initiative contributed a remarkable $400,000 donation, through the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, to establish an endowment ensuring long-term sustainability for future programs and operational needs.

“Their new center creates an environment where all students and teachers can come to access resources, expand their imagination, and explore new ideas that will help them thrive.”

Together, these transformational gifts expand access to innovative educational opportunities, strengthen critical resources for teachers, and create lasting community impact across Palm Beach County.
