Stuff the Bus: A Record-Breaking Year of Community Impact
Palm Beach County came together in an extraordinary way for this year’s Stuff the Bus campaign, presented in partnership with CBS12. With the help of generous individuals, local businesses, and community partners, we collected thousands of backpacks and school supplies—surpassing our $300,000 goal and ensuring that students across the county start the school year confident and prepared.
The event was made possible thanks to our presenting sponsors: Office Depot, Florida Crystals, “B”ing The Best, Inc. dba McDonald’s, Flagler Credit Union, and Raising Cane’s. Special thanks also go to Brooklyn Water Bagels, who not only served fresh bagels and coffee on-site but also hosted supply drives in 10 Palm Beach County locations, and McDonald’s, who ran supply drives in 16 of their restaurants. We are also grateful to Craig Goldenfarb of GOLDLAW for bringing their Sweet Justice Ice Cream Truck to the event—serving up scoops, smiles, and community spirit all day long. The celebration included major contributions from UG2 ($3,000) and Moss Foundation ($50,000), amplifying the campaign’s reach and impact.
In just a few short hours, the first school bus was filled to the brim with donated supplies—prompting a second bus to be rolled in. The energy and generosity were unmatched, with performances by the Highland Elementary School Step Team, Lake Worth High School Band, and Suncoast High School Cheerleaders adding to the excitement.
When we Stuff the Bus, we’re doing more than filling shelves; we’re fueling potential, creativity, and hope. Every $25 donated equals one backpack filled with essential supplies—a gift that transforms a student’s first day and sets them on a path toward success.
