**This is different than registering as a race participant and running/walking in the event.  Create a team Goal and challenge each other to meet and surpass that goal so more programs, like the Cybersecurity Academy, and more school supplies, from Red Apple Supplies,  will help our students create a bright future!**

Your participation helps to support Red Apple Supplies, a free school supply store for high-needs classrooms, career education programs allowing students to excel academically and helps remove obstacles to graduation. Go Teach! Classroom Grants are also awarded to creatively teach in the classrooms as a result of your efforts.

When you register for the race as a member of the run/walk team, you will be counted towards Heroes Awards schools.    Creating/joining a fundraising team only does not count towards the Heroes Awards, although we are thankful for your support of public education.

During the registration process, when asked "Are you with a School (Registration counts towards Heroes Awards?)",  a dropdown box of all PBC public schools will appear.  Choose your school.  This will ensure you will be included towards the Heroes Award total team count.

Physical Education awards will be distributed in several categories:

  • $1,000     Top Participating team
  • $750    Top Participating Elementary School Team
